Bolsena Lake
Only 10 minutes from the farmhouse, Bolsena lake is the biggest volcanic lake in Europe. It is the perfect spot for swimming, fishing, and any kind of water sports.
Monte Rufeno and Monte Amiata
The natural reservoir of Monte Rufeno – at the crossroad of Tuscany and Lazio –offers stunning landscapes to its visitors. Rich of trekking paths and diverse flora, the reservoir has a natural inclination for outdoor activities such as walking, and trekking. A mountain 1700-meter-high, Monte Amiata is the perfect spot for nature lovers, who can enjoy refreshing walks in the summer heat as well as some skiing during the winter. It’s only 30 minutes from the farmhouse!
Tuscia Laziale
Torre Alfina, Viterbo, Civita di Bagnoregio just a few examples among the many stunning towns that Lazio has to offer. Il Pallucaro Farmhouse is nearby many small villages where time seems to have stopped. Among these, you cannot miss Acquapendente known as the “Green Jerusalem”, Torre Alfina and its enchanting castle, and Civita Bagnoregio well-known to emerge among deep badlands.
Maremma & Valdorcia
Lower Tuscany - only 30 minutes from the farmhouse – houses some stunning villages such as Pitigliano, Sovana, and Sorano, and the better-known towns of Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino and Siena, famous for their prestigious vineyards. Close by, the guests can enjoy some spa treatments in San Casciano dei Bagni, Chianciano, Bagno Vignoni, and Saturnia.
Orvieto & Surroundings
Less than 30 minutes from the farmhouse, Orvieto is one of the most striking hill towns in central Italy. Art and history lovers cannot miss its cathedral, St. Patrick’s Well, Etruscan-era underground caves, and archeological sites.
Via Francigena
Via Francigena – the historic route from Northern Europe to Rome – is less than a kilometer far from agritourism. The guest can easily reach Bolsena through a stunningly panoramic walk, or enjoy the impressive badlands in Tuscany.
